X-SESSION

Co-presenters: Brigid Reale and Lynn Norris. We have been on both sides of the outsourcing equation. Together we'll make a strong case for outsourcing tasks (administrative, lead generation, engineering, QCing, etc). We will review ROI and the value of time vs money and discuss when VOs should consider using it to grow their business (because it's sooner than they think!). We'll guide attendees on writing advertisements and job postings, demonstrate vetting and interviewing techniques, and also provide tools and tips for effective communication and task delegation once they've hired a contractor. We'll share stories from our experiences being hired and hiring others. And we'll provide attendees with additional resources and materials to maximize the process. And we'll bring cookies! (kidding)
